As a self-taught oil painter, Christina’s work is deeply rooted in personal experience and emotional exploration. Inspired by the concept of finding light in the darkness, She strives to remind viewers to seek the glimmers of hope that exist even in challenging times. Each painting in this collection features hidden encouraging words, serving as subtle reminders to always look for the light.
Northern landscapes profoundly influence Christina’s art, reflecting on her cherished memories at the family cottage. That place became her sanctuary after the sudden loss of her father when she was just 19. It is here that Christina finds solace and feels her father’s presence, guiding her creative expression.
The ethereal orbs that appear throughout her work represent her father and honor his memory, capturing the essence of love and connection that transcends loss. Through Christina’s paintings, she invites viewers to join her on a journey of reflection, healing, and the pursuit of light amidst the shadows.
