Zenab Naqvi

Zenab Naqvi is a visual artist based in Ontario, Canada, whose work explores the expressive beauty of watercolor and wax resist techniques. Her paintings often capture the emotional essence of landscapes, both real and imagined, revealing subtle atmospheres and moments of reflection.

Working across watercolor, mixed media, collage, and batik, Zenab approaches each piece with curiosity and a spirit of experimentation. She believes that while artistic skill can be developed, true creativity is innate, something that grows through exploration and openness.

In addition to her studio practice, Zenab is passionate about community engagement. She has shared her knowledge as a docent at the Varley Art Gallery of Markham and as a workshop facilitator for seniors in Toronto. Through teaching and collaboration, she continues to inspire others while evolving her own creative journey.
