The visual language of her paintings stems from a lifelong fascination with the female form and the fluidity of hand-drawn patterns. These motifs first appeared in the margins of her notebooks as a personal means of expression long before they found their way onto canvas. Her background in fashion and Indian textiles continues to play a significant role in her artistic practice. The intricate borders and decorative patterns throughout her work pay homage to the rich storytelling traditions found in Indian textile design and craftsmanship. By combining these cultural influences with contemporary figures, she creates a dialogue between her heritage and her present-day identity.

At the heart of this collection is a celebration of women in their most authentic and unguarded moments. The artist portrays women when they are unobserved—not defined by societal roles or expectations, but simply existing as themselves. Many of the figures appear as mirrored reflections, suggesting that solitude need not be loneliness. Instead, they speak to the importance of self-companionship and the belief that spending time alone allows us to truly know and embrace every version of ourselves.

Through vibrant colour palettes and relaxed, dreamlike settings, the artist explores a vision of femininity that is both carefree and resilient. Her work reflects an ongoing interest in self-discovery, solitude, curiosity, and leisure, offering viewers an invitation to reconnect with wonder, reflection, and the quiet strength found within.
