Robyn Asquini

Robyn Asquini is a classically trained painter living in Toronto, Canada. Robyn studied illustration at Sheridan College and art and design at Parsons the New School. She recently completed the classical drawing and painting program at the Academy of Realist Art.

Robyn creates figurative works and still life oil paintings combining the techniques and materials of European masters with contemporary feminist perspectives and subjects. The aim of her work is to create emotionally direct images, focusing on the human form in a contemporary urban environment.

Robyn was selected as a Finalist in the 2022 Art Renewal Center Salon competition, received an Honourable Mention from the Society of Canadian Artists in 2023, and received a Certificate of Achievement from the Canadian Portrait Society in 2022 and 2021. She exhibited at the Artist Project in 2023 and will be attending the Pouch Cove Foundation Residency Program this October.
