We invite you to take part in this unique opportunity to acquire an exceptional work of fine art at a special price, while making a meaningful difference in the lives of marginalized women in our community.

Proceeds from the Online Art Auction support programs and initiatives for immigrant, refugee, newcomer, and equity-deserving women and their families at the Riverdale Hub.

Our auction will take place on our website and Instagram. from Saturday, November 29th to Friday, December 19th until 3pm. If you would like to view a specific artwork in person, please contact us to make an appointment.

Now, let’s get to the fun part…Bidding!

We have made it easy for you to bid on your favourite artworks. Simply head over to the comments section of each Instagram post, slide into our DMs (Direct Message), or just click on the “Bid on this Item” button below your preferred artwork on our website. You can also reach us at gallery@riverdalehub.ca. There are 23 available lots and they will be promoted via email and social media in the coming days.

Bidding will be in $25 increments. Place a bid by writing your name and bid amount in the comments section on Instagram (preferred), send us a DM, or click on the “Bid on this Item” button. Be sure to refresh your screen in order to check the latest bids. Bidding will end at 3:00PM EST on Friday, December 19th, 2025.

The Riverdale Hub Gallery will submit all proxy bids (both email and DM) in the comments section of each post. The bidder will receive a confirmation message or email that their bid has been successfully posted. Parties submitting their bid by proxy are responsible for checking the latest comments for current bids.

All bids are conducted in Canadian Dollars. Payment is to be made via PayPal or e-transfer. We will also accept credit card (Visa/MasterCard) and debit card payments in person. The buyer with the winning bid will have 48 hours upon issuance of an invoice to remit full payment. Failure to send payment will result in the artwork going to the next highest bidder. A charge of 13% HST will be applied to the winning bid amount.

Artwork pickup can be arranged through the Riverdale Hub Gallery once payment is complete. If you require shipping or delivery, we kindly ask that you coordinate with an independent shipper and assume responsibility for all related shipping and insurance costs.
