On September 21, 2024, we are celebrating Urban Agriculture Week 2024. Come by and see what we have planned!
Take a rooftop garden tour and see where we grow produce for our in-house cafe Free Spirit @ Riverdale Hub, check out our green roof and solar panel setup, and taste our delicious cold Shiso tea while taking in the views from three floors up.
Swap your saved seeds at our Seed Exchange, bring a healthy indoor houseplant to exchange in our Plant Swap and take in Contemporary Landscape Painter Cheryl Bailey’s exhibit “Come Butterfly! It’s Late”. The Artist’s reception is from 2-4 pm with an Artist’s talk at 3:00 pm in our main floor gallery. Reserve your spot for the artist’s talk here.
Date: Saturday, September 21, 2024
Time: 10:30 am – 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm
Duration: Rooftop Tours are every half hour on the hour and limited to 10 people at a time.
Fee: Pay-what-you-can or by donation (all donations to support garden activities)
*Please note: Pictures will be taken of the garden with visitors for our website and social media postings.
We recommend you make a reservation in advance as our rooftop garden is very popular; although drop-ins are welcomed.
