Artisan Market and Nancy L. Moore Solo Art Show at Riverdale Hub

November 21, 2024

Last Saturday, November 16th, Riverdale Hub was alive with creativity and community spirit as it hosted a vibrant Artisan Market alongside the captivating solo exhibition “In Living Daylight” by Toronto artist Nancy L. Moore.

The event brought together local artisans, art enthusiasts, and community members for a memorable day filled with connection and support.

Experience the Artisan Market Supporting Local Communities

The Artisan Market featured an impressive array of handmade goods, showcasing the talents of local craftspeople and small business owners. Attendees explored stalls brimming with handcrafted jewelry, clothing, pottery, art prints, and gourmet foods.

The market provided an excellent opportunity for visitors to meet the creators behind the work, learn their stories, and purchase unique items. Many artisans reported strong sales, demonstrating the community’s appreciation for their craftsmanship and the value of supporting local makers.

Proceeds from the Artisan Market go toward addressing barriers faced by marginalized women within our community. Every purchase contributes to creating a more inclusive and supportive environment for women entrepreneurs and artisans.

By offering these markets, Riverdale Hub provides a platform for women to showcase their talents, build connections, and grow their businesses, empowering them through economic opportunities.

Nancy L. Moore’s Solo Art Exhibition Continues

The day also highlighted Nancy L. Moore’s solo exhibition, “In Living Daylight,” which is currently on display at Riverdale Hub Gallery and runs until November 30th, 2024. Moore’s collection captivated attendees, drawing them into a world of vibrant colours, thoughtful compositions, and artistic reflections on everyday life.

Her works, infused with light and emotion, offered a compelling contrast to the bustling artisan stalls, giving visitors a chance to pause, reflect, and appreciate the beauty around them. You can purchase her artwork, just follow this link.
